About Us
Welcome
Welcome to Great Southern TAFE, a College dedicated to your success. For more than 25 years, our College has been helping students make important decisions about their future, set and reach their goals, and move into the workplace with the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
Our College provides training to one of the largest regions of any educational institution in Australia, covering an area of 40, 528 square kilometres. The College operates from more than ten sites throughout the Great Southern Region including major campuses at Albany, Mt Barker, Denmark and Katanning, and is committed to serving the Vocational Education and Training needs of the people in the region.
We actively support the policies of equal opportunity, anti-discrimination and freedom from sexual and racial harassment. Working within an Australian Quality Training Framework will also enable us to maintain the quality of service, delivery and reporting functions, and continuously improve to meet and exceed customer expectations.
In the friendly, active, and diverse environment of Great Southern TAFE, every student counts.
We encourage you to become involved in the Student Association, enabling you to make important contributions towards the quality of the services we provide, including various decision-making processes across the College. The President of the Student Association is invited to sit on the College Academic Board.
Please utilise the many resources the College provides. The Learning Resource Centre is always available to support your learning needs, and you will find our teaching and support staff committed to providing you with the highest quality of services and education.
We want you to have an enjoyable learning experience, and are pleased that you have chosen us to provide for your training and learning needs. We look forward to assisting you to achieve your goals and future successes.
